Named after the Kline arrowhead found in the Delaware River Valley of Pennsylvania, the Kline is our newest American-made folder and packs a lot of punch into a larger, rugged form factor. The Kline represents our first use of MagnaCut, a new EDC-specific stainless steel designed to be ultra corrosion resistant and extremely durable. This is a true USA-made super-steel, and we are excited to introduce it into the TJB line. The Kline also has a removable/reversible deep-carry clip, a the TJB Slide-Lock locking mechanism, and a full-liner construction. With its larger size, Micarta scales and ambidextrous design, the Kline has everything you need in a larger workhorse folder.

The Kline comes equipped with a removable and reversible deep-carry pocket clip, a Slide-Lock locking mechanism and a full-liner construction. With its larger size, Micarta scales and ambidextrous design, the Kline has everything you need in a larger hard-working daily folder.
The Kline represents our first use of MagnaCut, a new EDC-specific powdered metallurgy steel designed to be ultra corrosion resistant and extremely durable. MagnaCut is the product of Larrin Thomas, a self-professed knife nerd and the guy who actually wrote the book on blade steel engineering. He's dedicated his career to the study of blade steels and their properties. Your blade is the heart of your knife, and the properties of blade steels vary widely. Larrin's mission was to create a new EDC steel that would tackle a classic issue: how do you get the corrosion resistance of a stainless steel with the toughness and durability of high carbon steels? MagnaCut was his answer, and we are proud to bring it to the TJB line for the first time with the Kline.

We know that for a lot of people buying products made in the USA is important. It's important to us too, and we're making commitments to make more products here in the States. The Kline is our second USA-made knife, and there are more coming in the future. We are proud to produce the Kline domestically, and we'll continue to expand the products that we make close to home. We've listened to a lot of requests for a larger, more full-bodied knife that was designed to do tough jobs that might be outside the scope of a lighter-weight EDC folder. That's where the Kline came from. It's the knife you've been asking us to make: USA-made, MagnaCut blade steel, Micarta scales, an ambidextrous design and a larger form factor. This is a knife that we are really proud of and we know you're going to appreciate it as well. The Kline will be there for you when you need it most.

I say it's okay, only okay because I've had this knife for a while and I feel it doesn't hold an edge or feel as nice in the hand as the Folsom.
Now, I had the Folsom, and lost track of it within 6 months of having it. I bought the Kline, I liked it, life went on, but I found my Folsom, and started carrying it and it just felt right. Sturdy, holds an edge, confidence inspiring.
Just received my new Kline with green Micarta. It’s a very sturdy, beefy knife, but without being overly heavy. I love the look of the deep drop point blade. Gives it the look of a fixed blade knife. Looking forward to using this one, probably gonna be my new field/camping knife. Thanks TJB for your consideration for Military and the discount offered with GovX. This is not my first James, and it definitely won’t be my last!
Went on a hunch and picked this up, and I dig it. Perfect size to fit in my hand, deploys easily, especially with the tether added. JB might become my new knife obsession damn it
This is a wonderful knife. Only thing was the bottom corner was kinda sharp. Easy fix with fine sand paper. Very pleased overall.
Excellent craftmanship and sharp out of the box. A great knife.
