The Martindale is the latest addition to our Carry category, and it’s our very first money clip. We’ve been working on the Martindale for quite some time, as it’s something that has been often requested of us. I have several James Brand items and was happy to add this to my collection. The look is terrific and the quality is top notch. But wow, it is TIGHT. Driver license, 2 credit cards and 8 bills is about the max. I get that most people (or a lot of people) go cashless but some of us don't. I will carry it when I can but it won't be EDC for me.
I look for products that differentiate themselves from the rest. After searching for a new money clip and finding the same old thing, for sometimes ridiculous prices, I decided to check the Martindale out. It's sleek, very light, and minimal, just as I had hoped. If anything it is a bit too tightly sprung, we'll see if it softens at all over time. While the cost was higher than I wanted to spend, I will keep and use this for years to come.

I use this clip to carry paper money. It works well in that purpose.
