Production and Inventory Planner

We seek a Production and Inventory Planner who will be integral in the development of a World-Class brand.

Immediate Functions: 

• Setup of new model information and BOMs; manages through the complete product life cycle.
• Manages raw material inventory levels to ensure accuracy of finished goods; understands lead times on components for future PO placement.
• Prepare purchase orders for all components/parts.
• Oversees ERP system data to ensure the accuracy of product delivery dates, costs, and pricing information for all products.
• Creates and monitors weekly production schedules, understands key milestones, and effectively manages and communicates plan changes to the internal team.
• Assists in optimizing inventory through effective supply planning, forecasting & replenishment scheduling.
• Communicates with global teams / 3PL’s on new model / SKU information & purchase order tracking.
• Supports new model launches by ensuring a successful system integration, i.e., product detail information is accurate and syncing properly (ERP → Shopify).
• Assists in the logistics of order movement from the supplier to the final destination.

The ideal candidate for us would have: 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a professional environment.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required; Experience using an ERP system.
• Ability to collect, gather, organize, compare, and distribute data from factories, suppliers, and sub-suppliers to key team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail, brings care and thoughtfulness to their work, and highly attentive to details.
• Skilled at proactive planning and time management, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated; willing to roll-up sleeves and do everything needed to bring a product to market.
• Ability to interpret and analyze information and propose ideas for solutions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit; actively seeks out change, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Insane references who would hire you back, stat.

The Production and Inventory Planner position is based in our Oceanside, CA office. This is not a WFH role.
