“In New York I can be a fly on the wall and still be myself"

New York moves at its own frequency—loud, fast, relentless. For a few days, we ran with it, flying east from the coast we know to see the city through Beatrice Domond’s eyes. No big setups, no overthinking—just cameras and the flow of the day. From her apartment to the streets, over bridges and across neighborhoods, we filmed her skateboarding through moments that felt both spontaneous and familiar. From daylight into night, we documented the rhythm of her days—and saw how the Nocturne collection naturally fits into that flow, moving with her through a city that never slows down.

How it Started

We first saw Beatrice in Supreme’s 2014 skate film Cherry. She stood out instantly—one of the few women on screen, skating with an ease and confidence that couldn’t be ignored. Years later, she was riding for Supreme, Vans, and FA—brands we’ve always looked up to. Her Vans Mary Jane DS project sealed it; we knew she was someone we wanted to know. When we spotted her skating with a carabiner and keys clipped to her hip, we reached out, offering some TJB gear. Turns out, she was already using it. A few DMs later and a lunch in LA cemented it. The rest came naturally.

Who the F is Beatrice?

From Delray Beach, Florida, Beatrice picked up her first skateboard at seven. By twelve, she was filming clips and sending them out, one of which landed with Bill Strobeck—and suddenly, she was in Cherry. She’s been carving her own lane ever since. Her work blurs boundaries between skateboarding, art, fashion, and film—moving between worlds with quiet precision. Thoughtful and kind, never a pushover, always tuned in, always pushing forward. Now in New York, she’s far more than a skateboarder—a quiet cultural force, shaping the zeitgeist without fanfare. We’re proud to have her in the mix.

The Nocturne Collection

What happens when the light fades? The Nocturne collection features the tones, textures and tools of the city.  We’ve pulled together a collection of Beatrice’s favorites and TJB staples, inspired by the energy of the city, both in daylight and night. Those bright flashes of heat that you might find in the clearest of skies. Flashbulbs against darkness —sodium halide bulbs lighting the way. There are no boundaries for those who are driven to keep going; nothing has to stop just because the sun went down.
