The Rowan

I am a collector of EDC knives. With them for me it’s about what’s in the hand not in the field. Not so with Carabiners. They have practical uses, should one hook up with some items when it’s convenient to have them handy. I find TJB Carabiners also have an attraction by virtue of their design, color variety, materials used and the quality of fabrication. And, of course, I even used them as holders of various useful tools like a flashlight, a utility knife or small EDC knife, a small pen. Of late, flashlights have been reduced in size and are now very powerful. I prefer not to wear keys, openly. If you do that’s fine. I rather have them handy when I need to open locked doors or storage containers, etc. For me, The Rowan is mostly a matter of style, design and materials. TBJ’s Carabiners like The Rowan with its design, materials, utilities, quality of fabrication which looks good while it can hold a variety of items in a variety of arrangements. Is stable, easy attach to clothing or stuffed in a pocket or carry pack. Hang it on, up, or stuff it. It’s easy to tag along within reach as when I need a flashlight, a small EDC knife like The Elko . I keep adding TJB items that have a particular utility to my collection. Admittedly sometimes just for the design of it, just because it looks good. And as with the TBJ collection of Carabiners, the Rowan is both useful and manages to look good using it.
