The Burwell is our second click pen, following the launch of our Benton, back in 2016. Featuring a stainless steel barrel in an EDC-friendly diameter, the Burwell slips easily into your pocket for daily carry, but won’t bend or break, keeping your pockets ink free. It will quickly become the pen you reach for again and again, day in and day out.
We’ve doubled down on the Communication category with a handful of new products, including the Gatecliff notebook sleeve, the Burwell click pen and a new version of our Stilwell two-part compact pen, and a new 3-pack of TJB notebooks.
With its buttery smooth clicker, the Burwell gives you one-handed operation in all situations. A machined-in dot pattern assures positive control, even in wet or slippery conditions. The metal-injection-molded (MIM) clip provides positive retention, but makes it easy to deploy from your pocket.
The Burwell uses standard Parker-style G2 refills (available at TJB.com) so you can choose from a nearly endless variety of refills. Find the nib, ink color and type that fits your needs, and make the Burwell your own.
The Burwell is available in a raw stainless finish for the purists in the group, and also in a matte black PVD finish, so you can choose your poison.

A Desert Storm vet I had to grab the Burwell in this color way to add to my collection of EDC gear in Desert Tan and Black!
I have 4 but well pens now , silver , rose gold , black , and now this one . The finish on these one specifically isn’t great , it has a few defects where I guess the ceramide didn’t bond or where it didn’t bond . Still functions well as usual with these , however for an expensive pen like this , shouldn’t have issues with the color.
I expected a lot more. The clicker is not as positive and I hoped it would be. It feels plastic; doesn’t have a solid click my Zebra G-750 has. Also, the pin clip has a gap between the clip and body of the pin and was slightly bent upon arrival. It doesn’t stay put in my pocket, slides around, and will probably fall out one day. I wanted to like this, it feels okay in the hand, but can’t recommend.
Solid is the word I want to use to describe the pen’s body, the writing experience, and TJB’s customer support.
Received mine yesterday. Well balanced with a clicker that is very well executed. Also love the grip. My new go to pen. Great job TJB!
