Featuring a stainless steel barrel in an EDC-friendly diameter, the Burwell slips easily into your pocket for daily carry, but won’t bend or break, keeping your pockets ink free. Make it Yours

The Burwell uses standard Parker-style G2 refills (available at TJB.com) so you can choose from a nearly endless variety of refills. Find the nib, ink color and type that fits your needs, and make the Burwell your own.

The Burwell is available in a raw stainless finish for the purists in the group, and also in a matte black PVD finish, so you can choose your poison.

Weight, Click, & Write

The three things this pen does well among other things is, the weight feels good and well distributed, the click is smooth and rewarding like turning on a blinker on a high end car, and with a little damp breath, the pen writes like a charm. I like that the pen writes with slight friction to feel manual but not enough to feel taxing. This helps me with writing control (less slop). Thanks guys! Keep up the work!

Sunset surfer

This pen is now my favorite pen in my collection. The weight and the flow are balanced just like the compound curves I look for in the foil of the surfboards shaped by godfathers before us. The materials mirror the maximal longevity while leaving room for infinite growth within. If only I can achieve what this pen is.

Thank you James,

Lane

Heavy in the hand

Make no mistake this is a stainless steel pen, and it is heavy in the hand. I do a fair amount of writing and it's a bit much for continuous writing but good for some quick scribbles.

Good click action, love that it has my name on it, looks cool and is built sturdy.

New to the pen game

This year I started getting into pens, well a few years ago before I even had a EDC I became a fan of the zebra 301, for its utilitarian style, quality and value. Then I picked up a Parker Jotter and swapped the ink carriage for a gel and it became my favorite for its “click” and writing experience. Then after Christmas I came across the James sale and stumbled across the Burwell. Don’t recall the sale price, but it was to good to pass up. I went rose gold, because it matched a watch I owned, but too my surprise when I opened the box it was almost bronze looking and I enjoy the color. The weight of the pen is premium. The build quality is nice, the “click” is great, solid feeling, damp, but still pops. Clip is tight, fits well in a pocket and securely. James branded ballpoint pen cartridge is ok. I will swap it out for a gel cartridge once it runs out of ink and it will be even better I think. I carried for two week in my pocket, but it has been living on my desk for daily writing. Loving the writing experience of this pen. Branding is subtle, showed a few friends and it is instant eye catcher. Don't think i could justify full price for this pen. But picking it up on sale…... ohhh Hell yeah!!!

Great pen, great service!

The pen's build quality and design are unmatched, it is very sleek and minimal. Although at first I've had a problem with the click mechanism, the support team sent me a new one. I am very satisfied.
