Featuring a slide-lock mechanism, a corrosion-resistant VG-10 stainless steel blade, fully-profiled G10 or Micarta scales and a deep-carry, reversible pocket clip, the Carter is the most advanced knife we've ever made. It's slim and lightweight, but fully capable in any environment. It's also fully ambidextrous, and the pocket clip can easily be removed and replaced with a lanyard insert. The thumb disc design means that the Carter is easy to use with one hand, so it's at the ready in all situations. The Carter is going to immediately earn it's spot in your EDC rotation.

The Carter features slide-lock technology, a first for us here at TJB. The slide-lock is secure, easy to understand and ambidextrous. It’s designed for use with one hand, and has been a staple mechanism of everyday carry knives for a long time.

Designed & Made Better

The VG-10 stainless steel blade has great edge-retention and corrosion resistance. VG-10 was designed to handle the abuse of the culinary world, but because of its amazing characteristics, it’s found a home in the world of everyday carry. The Carter is available with G10 scales or in natural Micarta; both are fully sculpted and feel amazing in hand. The opening style uses a symmetrical thumb-disc on top of the blade, making for easy, affirmative one-handed opening. The deep-carry pocket clip is our deepest ever. It’s easily reversible (using a Torx T6, not included). If a pocket clip isn’t your thing you can replace the clip with the included lanyard insert.

The Carter is available in regular and XL sizes, so it will fit hands and jobs of all sizes. If you are looking for something that is discreet and rides easily in any pocket all day, stick with the standard Carter. If you've got bigger hands, and need a full-size knife for hardcore work day in and day out, the Carter XL is for you.

Awesome EDC pocket knife

One of the nicer pocket knives in my collection. Great ergonomics; Nice blade shape; Arrived razor sharp; meticulously packed in its own wooden case. The only negative I have is that I wish there was more gimping on the top of the blade for a better grip. Otherwise a perfect tool.

Great knife, poor quality control

The knife itself is awsome, exactly what I wanted. However, it showed up with black smudges on it. Now, I realize I bought the white knife but I would have liked to have started with it completely white. Disappointing considering the "premium " brand and price. That's why 4 stars.
