Folsom Pro redux
I briefly had the previous version of this knife and while I ultimately had to return it due to a faulty locking mechanism, after it was gone, I realized I really liked the size and form factor of the knife. When it became available again, I opted to buy it again.
I haven't had the new one very long yet, but I continue to be mostly happy with it. The materials and construction are very nice; the blade has been holding its edge so far, and the bearings are smooth for opening/closing.
My only minor niggle, which I already knew about from my earlier version, is that the thumb hole doesn't make for the easiest movement to flick the knife open. It's not bad... just a little awkward like I can't just effortlessly flip it open without looking to make sure I've got enough purchase. I'm not sure if a slightly different shape or size or placement of the thumb hole would make it better, or if it's just a virtue of the handle shape.
Otherwise, I like it and it is currently my most often carried knife.
