With the Folsom we focused on designing a knife that would be at home from the city to the backcountry. Fluid arcs and simple forms give ample gripping power while the extra-slim profile won’t bulk up your pocket like other liner-locks. A triangular thumb hole and reversible clip also allow for left or right-handed configuration.

Beautiful knife, but the white handle gets stained blue immediately in jeans pockets

The James Brand is so elegant; I love the knife. But I was a bit surprised to see how fast the white handle (I got a white handle, black blade) picked up blue "stains" from sticking it in my back pocket. It doesn't look awful. I was just surprised and would probably go for a different color way. But I admit I haven't tried to clean it yet. There just doesn't seem to be any point in doing so, because I'm pretty much using the knife always in jeans. It's a nice, light EDC knife.

Everything TJB touches is perfect.

I’ve been dailying a Folsom for the last 5 years paired with one of their carabiners, and use the Carter is my dress knife. Decided it was time my fiancée got on board, so I got her a Bone/Black Folsom for Christmas. She obviously loves it and has been showing it off to her coworkers and friends. Makes me proud. Also, TJB has amazing customer service, and they actually care about both their products and their customers, as they have recently reached out with the recent passing of my Uncle, who worked with TJB on various projects. All around 11/10 recommend anything TJB touches.

Best EDC workhorse pocket knife.

I’ve always loved the design and what this brand stands for. Obviously I went on line to read and watch some reviews before buying. I quickly encountered some hate from “knife guys” but the beauty of the product was just too much for me that I had to pull the trigger on three knives.

Now let me tell you. From the box you can tell TJB is about perfection, style, functionality, and beauty.

Blade : dead center.

Action : phenomenal.

Finish: flawless.

Weight: balanced.

Size: perfect.

Sharpness: laser.

Sound: music.

I was anticipating an over priced budget knife like some of the brand haters say. NOT TRUE. What a great great product. 2 carters 1 Folsom 1 cup. And getting 2 palmers tonight. I will own every blade this company has to offer for every day of the week.
