Giving Back With Beatrice Domond
Giving back is core to TJB. For our 8th annual Make It Better campaign, Beatrice Domond chose to support the Harold Hunter Foundation, which uses skateboarding to open doors for urban youth—a cause close to Harold’s heart. Beatrice understands first-hand that skateboarding has a unique ability to unlock true potential.
“The Harold Hunter Foundation is super important. Over the years, I have watched them support and strengthen the skateboard community, especially for Black and Brown men and women. I really admire the work they do and the legacy they continue to carry. I never met Harold in person, but from everything my elders told me, he was the first person you met when you entered the New York scene and he was an incredible skateboarder.”

Harnessing The Power Of Skateboarding To Transform Lives
Harold Hunter wasn’t just a skateboarder—he was a NYC legend. Charismatic, fearless, and endlessly creative, he helped define the city’s skate scene in the 1990s. Beyond tricks, Harold mentored younger skaters, broke down barriers, and showed that skateboarding could be a lever to create real opportunities. The Harold Hunter Foundation carries on Harold’s legacy, giving youth access to skateboarding programs, mentorship, and resources to grow on and off the board.
Supporting Youth & Opportunity
Beatrice knows firsthand the transformative power of skateboarding and mentorship. This campaign helps expose kids to skateboarding, creativity, and opportunity—showing them they can shape their own reality and reach their potential.
