We’re back with our second edition of the TJB × Timex GMT. We were so happy with how the first edition turned out that we knew we’d have to revisit this design. With adventure travel top of mind, we designed this watch from the ground up to be the ultimate daily solution for people who live to explore; people like James. The James Brand × Timex GMT is water resistant to 200 meters and the automatic Miyota GMT movement allows you to keep track of two time zones. The 41mm titanium case is paired up with a 6al-4v titanium bracelet, and we’ve included a secondary resin strap. With an anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal and case back, a screw-down crown and more Ti than you can shake a stick at, this one is designed to be on your wrist for a lifetime.

For our next collaboration with our friends at Timex, we’ve taken a more refined approach to the typical field watch. Departing from the usual rugged silhouette seen in more tactical watches, The James Brand × Timex GMT sports a more formal aesthetic with a sleek, 41mm case. Machined out of billet 6al-4v titanium, the watch features solid durability while remaining lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. Only seven hundred and fifty units; when they are gone, they are gone.

With the unpredictable nature of adventure and travel in mind, The James Brand × Timex GMT is equipped with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes on the go. It also includes two versatile attachment options: a titanium bracelet with a butterfly closure and a resin strap.

A True GMT.

Featuring a Miyota 9075 automatic GMT movement with 24 jewels, the James° × Timex GMT is a true GMT, fully capable of keeping time in two time zones. This is a fully-automatic movement, meaning no winding is required (but you are welcome to wind it up if you’d like). With a rotating, unidirectional bezel and a 3-position screw down crown, this watch blends pure performance within a newly shaped titanium case.

Every Detail Considered. 

Standing out against the black dial are tapered hands and applied indices with Super-LumiNova® in-fill for enhanced readability, complemented by a convenient date window at 3 o'clock. All of this is housed underneath a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for ultimate clarity. Flip the watch over to reveal a sapphire crystal exhibition window that reveals the intricate 24-jewel automatic movement. Reinforcing the case’s durability is a screw down crown that effectively keeps out dirt, dust, and moisture.

Automatic GMT

I love watches and was looking for a second GMT watch. Timex surprised me with the Expedition but even more with the James. In addition to being, Titanium, automatic, manual wind, hacking, and a unique color, the Bezel had all the 24 hour numbers, no skips, and also lined up with the inner ring that also had all the numbers. Most GMT watches, skip numbers for space reasons. The James with all the numbers makes reading the dial so much easier with a 41mm dial. Overall, the James is a very beautiful watch. Since I received the watch it has been running, almost continuously, with good accuracy and power reserve. Would recommend this watch for anyone looking for an automatic GMT nicely priced

I would liked the numerals to be more bolder and legible. It does poorly to glow in the dark and read time in light dim places

The James Brand x Timex Automatic GMT #376

Very happy with this watch. Looks great, fits great (I switched over to the rubber band). The "quick change feature" for the band is an excellent idea. I am sure the metal band is good also, I just like the rubber band better for fit.

I also like the limited release of only 750 total. Very unlikely that I will see anyone else with one.

This watch is a beautiful collaboration. Overall, this is the most value you can find in a watch. I love the movement, function, form, and fit. Color is unique and happens to be my favorite shade of green. Here is where there could be improvement and why the 4 stars and not 5. No micro adjustments on the ti band. Thus, you are out of luck if a whole link does not fit. I had to remove 5 links and so one side is longer. Would love the gmt hour hand to have the James Brand Green to pop. Don’t love the JB logo on back of case. Otherwise very happy and is my daily driver watch!
