The James Brand × Timex Automatic GMT

For our next collaboration with our friends at Timex, we’ve taken a more refined approach to the typical field watch. Departing from the usual rugged silhouette seen in more tactical watches, The James Brand × Timex GMT sports a more formal aesthetic with a sleek, 41mm case. Machined out of billet 6al-4v titanium, the watch features solid durability while remaining lightweight and comfortable on the wrist. Only seven hundred and fifty units; when they are gone, they are gone.

With the unpredictable nature of adventure and travel in mind, The James Brand × Timex GMT is equipped with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes on the go. It also includes two versatile attachment options: a titanium bracelet with a butterfly closure and a resin strap.

Featuring a Miyota 9075 automatic GMT movement with 24 jewels, the James° × Timex GMT is a true GMT, fully capable of keeping time in two time zones. This is a fully-automatic movement, meaning no winding is required (but you are welcome to wind it up if you’d like). With a rotating, unidirectional bezel and a 3-position screw down crown, this watch blends pure performance within a newly shaped titanium case. 

Standing out against the black dial are tapered hands and applied indices with Super-LumiNova® in-fill for enhanced readability, complemented by a convenient date window at 3 o'clock. All of this is housed underneath a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for ultimate clarity. Flip the watch over to reveal a sapphire crystal exhibition window that reveals the intricate 24-jewel automatic movement. Reinforcing the case’s durability is a screw down crown that effectively keeps out dirt, dust, and moisture.
