The Duval uses American-made Crucible s35vn stainless blade steel, and has a frame of 6al4v titanium. The modified sheepsfoot blade shape is as useful as it is beautiful. The main pivot uses ceramic ball bearings for an incredibly smooth action. Scale options include rosewood and OD green micarta.
With the Duval we took cues from mid-century design and combined them with the very best materials to create a modern-day gentlemen's pocket knife that has all of the features of a traditional frame-lock design.

beautiful pocket knife
I went for the sicamore version during the sale.
When it arrived I was in awe. The wood is really astonishing.
Opening the first time was not that easy. ;-)
After playing with it for a while I found a two handed way that flipped it open.
The snapping sound it releases when opening it is really nice.
After a while I found a way to open it one handed but snapping it open with my thumb.
The one handed opening with the index finger remains impossible for me.
But opening it with the thumb is just perfect.
